My first blog

Welcome to my first blog, well let me introduce myself, for those who don't already know me. I am a 35 year old lady who has come to a cross roads in my life. Let me start off with a little background. I graduated from the prestigious University of North Dakota in 1997 with a Spanish degree and went directly from accepting my diploma (which by the way was through mail since my college was underwater due to a record breaking 500 year flood) to Minneapolis to start my career working for Northwest Airlines. Not that I didn't enjoy traveling the world and meeting new people, but I decided I needed more in life. So after 9 years of being treated like a brainless, garbage collecting, floor mat, I quit my job and enter the 9 to 5 workforce. I wouldn't say huge mistake, but I quickly found out that I am not cut out to work 9 to 5 and needed a occupation that not only requires use of my brain on a daily basis, but also had acceptable working hours. (I would rather work 12 hour shifts with more days off) So after a few months on unemployment I decided to return to UND in order to pursue a degree in nursing, and here I am, a 35 year old college student!!!!
